FAQ’s

For our residents:

Q: Who do I call in an emergency? A: If someone has had an accident, there is a fire OR a life threatening situation then call 000 immediately. If there is someone acting suspicious then please call police link on 131444 and then let our office know via email or mobile. If you have a serious water leak then you can turn water off at the front of your townhouse which is located behind a rectangular box usually between the garage door and front door. If you have an electrical issue then you can turn off power to your townhouse from the internal switchbox located inside your garage.


Q: Can I run a home business from my townhouse? A: No, running a home business from our complex is not allowed as per our bylaws. Our community is designated for residential use only, and commercial activities are not permitted.


Q: Are pets allowed in the complex? A: Pets are allowed in our complex, but they must be approved by the management. You need to make a formal request and receive permission before bringing a pet into the community. There may also be specific pet-related rules in place that you’ll need to adhere to.


Q: Can I park my vehicle in the visitor carpark overnight? A: No, overnight parking in the visitor carpark is not permitted. The visitor carpark is intended for temporary use by guests and visitors, and residents are expected to park their vehicles in their designated parking spaces.


Q: What is the policy on visitor parking or overnight guest stays in the complex? A: Our visitor parking generally allows anyone to park in the visitors for 12 hours either throughout the day or overnight stays. If you have a quest who is staying with you for more than week then it is advisable to let management know.


Q: Are children allowed to play on the roads within the complex? A: No, for safety reasons, playing on the roads within the complex is not allowed. We have designated play areas or recreational spaces where children can safely play. It’s important to keep the roads clear for vehicles to avoid any accidents or hazards.


Q: Where do I take my rubbish? A: The Moreton Bay City Council (MBRC) has not issues individual wheelie bins to each townhouse. Instead the MBRC have provided large communal 1400L refuge and recycle bins which are located throughout the complex.

Q: How do I report a maintenance issue in my unit or in a common area? A: You can report maintenance issues by contacting the property management office or submitting a request here https://www.siennavillage.au/tenants/maintenance-request/.


Q: Can I make alterations or renovations to my unit or add personal touches like painting the walls? A: Renovations or alterations may be subject to restrictions. It’s essential to consult with the property management regarding any planned changes to your unit. Importantly whilst you may be allowed to make the alterations you may also be required to return the townhouse to its original state on vacating depending on the alteration which was made.


Q: What if I experience financial hardship? A: We understand that facing financial challenges can be overwhelming and encourage you to reach out to us so that we can discuss various options and solutions to help alleviate your financial burden.

Violation of these rules may result in penalties or other appropriate actions.
